Samsung has introduced the 2016 edition of Galaxy A8 (2016) in its home market South Korea. The smartphone sports a metal unibody design that measures 7.2mm around the waist and weighs just 182g. The samsung Galaxy A8 (2016) runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow, supports Samsung Pay out of the box, has fingerprint sensor embedded into the home button. It brings a few upgrades over its predecessor and uses in-house Exynos chipset instead of Qualcomm.
The Galaxy A8 (2016) phone comes with 5.7-inch Full HD 1920 x 1080 pixels Always-on Super AMOLED display and gets in-house octa-core Exynos 7420 processor w/ Mali T760 GPU, 3GB RAM and 32GB internal memory, which can be expanded via 256microSD card.
The Samsung Galaxy A8 (2016) comes with a 16-Megapixel rear camera with LED flash and f/1.9 aperture and 8-Megapixel front camera. Connectivity there's 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS/GLONASS and NFC. It is fueled by 3300mAh battery.
The Galaxy A8 (2016) is priced at 13,999 and will be avaiolable for pre-oreder from in Korea from local operator SK Telecom starting October 1. It comes in Blue, Grey and Pink hues.
