As reported earlier, Matte Black variant of Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 phone is all set to go on sale today at 12 noon through Flipkart and Mi.com. The Redmi Note 4 Gold and Dark grey colour variants will also be up for grab in today's sale.
To recollect, it was during the Mi Home Pop-Up event, which was held in Hyderabad, Xiaomi is Lead Product Manager of Mi India, Jai Mani had announced that the Matte Black variant of the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 smartphone will be made available for purchase by end of this month. However, back then, he did not reveal the exact date of availability. But a week back Xiaomi company had announced through its official twitter handle that the Matte Black variant of Redmi Note 4 smartphone will go on sale in India on March 1st at 12 noon
Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 phone comes three variants- the 32GB/2GB RAM model is priced at Rs 9,999, the 32GB/3GB RAM model is priced at Rs 10,999, whereas for 64GB/4GB RAM model one has to pay Rs 12,999.
As far as specifications are concerned, the Redmi Note 4 smartphone comes with a 5.5-inch full HD (1920 pixels x 1080 pixels) 2.5D curved glass display and a 2.0 GHz Octa-Core Snapdragon 625 processor with Adreno 506 GPU. The hybrid dual SIM phone runs on Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) operating system and has a 4100 mAh battery. In terms of design, the phone is near identical to the Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 with a fingerprint scanner at the back.
Further, the Redmi Note 4 offers a 13 MP autofocus rear camera with dual tone LED flash, PDAF, f/2.0 aperture and a 5 MP front camera. On the connectivity front, the device offers 4G with VoLTE, Bluetooth 4.2, WiFi (802.11 b/g/n), GPS with AGS/GLONASS and USB Type C. The smartphone measures 151 x 76 x 8.35mm and weighs 175 grams.
